Don’t Get Into Fights
Poles have a reputation for getting into public fights after going out drinking and partying for the night, so much so that the police tend to be used to this kind of behavior and have witnessed it happen more often than it should. Be sure not to join in any of the fights. In fact, get away as soon as you can as the authorities won’t bother to ask questions about who’s at fault or what actually went down. But they will bring down the law on anyone they can get their hands on, regardless if you had anything to do with it or not.
