Don’t Think The Older Men Are Hitting On You
It may seem rather odd that when you meet an older Polish gentleman, he may take your hand to kiss it in greeting. No, he isn’t hitting on you, he’s just following a form of etiquette that he believes shows respect and gallantry towards the opposite sex. Although most of the younger generation shake hands, as is customary in many other countries, others actually give a kiss on the check during more social types of gatherings like those spent with family and friends.
