We all have lost our tempers at one time or another. Before you flare-up, remember Filipinos are a proud people, and embarrassing one will bring no good. Maybe for example, a saleslady did not understand you, be patient and explain your point without raising your voice or insulting her. One foreigner from China learned his lesson the hard way. As he was berating a sales girl in a shop with insults screaming at the top of his voice, a Filipino man who was close by, suddenly blind-sided the Chinese man with a punch to the face. Not only was the foreigner hurt, he was thrown out by the security guards. So be courteous and respectful of others, no matter who they are.
