Do Not Laugh At The Karaoke Singer

Filipinos love to sing, especially in karaoke bars. If you are invited to go with Filipino friends to a karaoke place, try not to laugh at the one singing even if they sound like a squealing pig. They will feel insulted and may act nastily. Smiling is ok though.
