5. Do not Bring Australian or American Currency
As we’ve mentioned, the best currencies to bring are Euros and British Pounds as they fetch good rates when exchanged for Cuban Convertible Pesos (CUCs). Australian dollars won’t be accepted and American Dollars trade low. They also charge a transaction fee when exchanging USDs.
