Cal Poly State University is located in San Luis Obispo, a popular school area, which is located around 200 miles North from Los Angeles. Rachel was a hard-working student in her junior year taking up Nutritional Science. She was hoping to eventually have a career in the future as a nutritionist. But unfortunately for Rachel, this was a dream that would not come true.

Walking Home

On the night of November 12, 1998, she decided to go out to a fraternity party with some friends. They went to the Tortilla Flat Restaurant to enjoy some time off the school campus. Around midnight, Rachel reportedly got into an argument with her good friend and decided to walk home. That was the last time that anyone saw her alive.
