This Adopted Man Searches For Birth Parents- Finds Out His Biological Father Is Charles Manson

A Young Manson

As the story goes, Manson was born on November 12, 1934, to Kathleen Maddox who was 16 at the time and unmarried. Charles’ full name was Charles Milles Maddox, and he never knew his father who was a Colonel named Walker Scott. Manson didn’t have an easy childhood, to say the least. Supposedly his mom had run away and became a heavy drinker. Manson even recalled at one point that his mom sold him to a waitress, who was desperate for a child, for a single pitcher of beer.

A Troubled Teen

Manson was in and out of various foster homes, due to his mom’s imprisonment after she robbed a service station with her brother. Then Manson was placed in the Gibault School for Boys in Indiana, but later on escaped, wanting to go back to his mother. She refused to take him in, and so began a life of robbery and theft. He also claims that at the tender age of 13, he was brutally sexually assaulted while in the Indiana Boys School. He was able to escape from there as well, along with 2 other friends who were also desperate to get out.
