Corrine Rowland, 33

At just 33-years of age, Corrine Rowland became a grandmother when her daughter, Bethany, gave birth to her own son, Elijah, when she was just 17. Corrine herself was only 15-years old when she had Bethany, and she shares that it was quite a difficult experience for her. Corrine shared that what was her biggest challenge, also became the ‘greatest joy of her life.’

Her Greatest Joy

She shares that she was hoping to end the cycle with her, not wanting the same hardships for her daughter that she had for herself if her daughter got pregnant young. But despite trying to provide Bethany with everything she could, history was doomed to repeat itself when Bethany got pregnant and gave birth at just 17. Regardless of all that has happened, Elijah has since become a blessing in their close-aged family.
