Calling 911

While hiding, the victim called 911 to get the assistance they needed. Then after calling 911, James called his dad, James Persyn Jr., to explain what was going on. James III told his dad, “We need help right now. There’s a man outside our door trying to get in, and I’m really afraid.”

Setting The House On Fire

The man continued to scream and bang on the door, and then suddenly, things went quiet. Although the children and woman could only pray that the man had left, they couldn’t know what was really going on. Apparently, the assailant was actually trying to set the house on fire.
