33 Years After Teen’s Disappearance, Man Calls TV Station With Grisly Confession…

On that spring day in Milwaukee, Tousignant received a call from Carrie Ann’s school telling her that her seventh-grade daughter had been suspended for walking the halls without a hall pass. When asked if she would like to pick up Carrie Ann from the school’s office, her mother said no because their house was located only one block from the school. With the close proximity to the school, and Carrie Ann’s immediate suspension, Tousignant expected the seventh grader to arrive shortly.
“I figured she’ll be home,” Tousignant said, “but she never showed up.”

Tousignant’s search for her daughter on that night wound up spanning over a year, as Carolyn and Frederick, Carrie Ann’s father, had no clue as to the whereabouts of their daughter. They had no idea that it would take a carpenter remodeling a home to uncover their daughter’s remains.
