Together Again

When they were together again, William’s dad John, exclaimed, “Thank God he’s alive. He was in the right spot when the helicopter flew overhead. If he was under a tree they wouldn’t have seen him.” He also said, “He wasn’t able to walk, he was so weak. He was barely able to get an arm up to wave to the helicopter. When they landed, he just wanted to talk to somebody. He’s going to recover from this.”

Figuring Out What Happened

With William being found, his family, along with the authorities, could finally put together the events that took place over the last few weeks that he had been missing. The Garfield County Sheriff’s Department had been able to figure out that ‘he had traveled about 40 miles before he was found.’
