Calling His Dad For Help

William did the one thing he knew to do to get back on track. He phoned his dad, John, and asked if he could send him some money to help him out. William told his dad he’d try to hitch a ride to Page, Arizona, where his dad could wire some money to him form him to collect it. And it was here that things took an even more unexpected turn.

John Didn’t Know What Was Going To Happen

John went on to explain, “He didn’t want me to come out there. He wanted me to send him some money to get him to Page.” John knew that William “has done a lot of camping but he has always been close enough to where he could walk to people and get [to] a grocery store.” But he could have never known that William’s attempt to get to Page would end up as it did.
