First Shock

At just two years old, Brown’s parents were extremely shocked to find their little girl deathly sick. They didn’t know what was wrong with her. So, like responsible adults, they drove her to the hospital and had her checked. They were hoping that it was just the flu. Unfortunately, it was so much more.

Too Young

Brown was actually afflicted with a very rare form of cancer at just two years of age. The doctors at AFLAC Cancer Center in Atlanta Georgia discovered that she had rhabdomyosarcoma, a type of cancer that attacks the body’s connective tissue.
