The then young Brown already knew just how serious her condition was. Nonetheless, she wasn’t about to give up. While she was aware of the fact that she had been deathly sick, her parents showed her that they were never going to give up on her.

Choosing to Live

Brown knew that if her mom and dad were going to do everything to beat cancer, then she was going to give it her all as well. She religiously visited the oncologist and had her chemo treatments. While this was an unexpected hurdle for everyone in the family, her parents tried to make things as normal as possible.
