Leave Them Alone
Part of the reason why there was a law against being in contact with the tribe was because they had managed to remain completely isolated for thousands of years. They had never been vaccinated, never had a common virus, never been educated in the regular sense of the word, and something simple like a cold could actually kill them all. They also never showed an interest to interact with other humans, therefore it was decided that they needed to be protected for their own safety.

So finally on November 15, John was able to get close to the island’s shore via boat, which was tugging along his kayak, and that’s what he used to get closer. He also made sure to come prepared with fish and a football, gifts he planned to offer them. But most importantly, he had his bible in hand to attempt to teach them about the love of God.
