Once again, police used familial DNA testing using the spit they got. The police then quickly connected the murders to the Borjas family, particularly Geovanni Borjas. They followed the suspect closely and covertly until they saw him spit on a sidewalk. The collected the evidence and true enough, it matched the DNA from the crime scene. The case was closed not too long after.
