Eighteen years later, DNA was extracted from the rock used to crush Beslanowitch’s skull. A tool called the forensic vacuum helped the investigators immensely in solving the case. The DNA matched to man named Joseph Michael Simpson. He was a bus driver at the time of the murder. At 46 years of age, he was finally arrested when all clues pointed his way.
