James “Richard” Layne
The bloody body of Layne was found in a motel room in Alabama in 1989. At that time, police couldn’t collect evidence except for the fingerprints found on an empty beer can. With no leads, the case didn’t move for years. In 2004, a detective decided to reinvestigate and put together facts on his own. He looked back on the notes collected and noticed something different.
