Linda, her daughter, never gave up. She was too young to remember the details then, but she wanted answers to her mother’s disappearance. She then posted ads in newspapers all over to see if anyone could provide her with a clue. She then got a call in 2013 from a woman who claimed to be her stepsister. The claim sounded incredulous but when Linda looked into the story, she discovered that her mother had run away from the abusive relationship and that her then husband hadn’t allowed her to bring her baby with her. When Linda visited the woman, she immediately recognized her mother. It was a happy reunion for the two.
