Minnie and Edward Maurin
In a small town in Chehalis, Washington, Edward, 83, and his wife Minnie, 81, were reported missing on Christmas Eve of 1985. Instead of enjoying the holidays, the family of the old couple wondered where they were. Some witnessed bloodstains inside the car and said that the key was still on the ignition the day the couple disappeared. Less than a week later, their bodies were found in a wooded area. Everyone knew that the notorious Riffe brothers had done it but were too scared to testify.
