Checking What Was Going On

Thomas saw that it was a little past 3 in the morning, but he knew he needed to check in on his daughter after hearing so much commotion. When he got upstairs to their bedroom, he was alarmed by what he saw. Thomas says that when he walked their room, Jason was choking Molly and threatening to kill her. And that’s when things turned nasty.

Calling 911

911 received a call from Thomas Martens who said, “My daughter’s husband, my son-in-law, got in a fight with my daughter.” Then he continued, I intervened and I think… he’s in bad shape. We need help.” He went on to say, “I hit him in the head. With a baseball bat. He was choking my daughter, he said, ‘I’m going to kill her.’”
