24. Saint Bernard

Most Saint Bernard’s are known for being the animals that were once used in Alpine rescues. These days, this humongous dog is quite a handful to keep as a pet. This breed can they reach up to 260 pounds in weight and 35 inches in height. Although they can be very friendly and adoring to their owners, they are also known for excessive slobbering and shedding. As far as aggression goes, Saint Bernard’s can become quite destructive and stubborn, especially when left alone for too long or when they lack fraternization with other dogs and humans.

25. American Bulldog

The American Bulldog is a strong, usually stocky and muscular animal. Although it comes in a variety of sizes and weight, it is also known to drool excessively, almost to a fault. Bulldogs are known to be quite social and active, their confidence allows them to fit in with most families they live with. But because they were originally raised to be working farm dogs that could even catch wild boar, they are also quite stubborn, which also makes them very good guard dogs. If they do become a family pet, they need early socialization with young children to cultivate the “proper” attitude.
