When All Was Said And Done
Finally, when those six intense hours were finally over, and Marina turned from passive victim to a mobile, regular traversing person, the audience would take a sudden shift in their entire demeanor. In fact, as soon as those 360 minutes were over, the audience that had used that time to demean her, scurried away as she walked through them, cut, bruised, and with tears streaming down her face.
Calling It Over
Marina remembers what happened when the 6 hours were up. She shares, “After 6 hours, which was like 2 in the morning, the gallerists came and announced that the performance was over. I started moving and started being myself, because until then I was there like a puppet just for them, and at that moment everybody ran away.”
