Marina remembers, “In the beginning the public was really very much playing with me.” She shares how they gave her the rose to hold, kissed her and would even give her cake. Then she shares, “it became more and more wild” when the audience realized that she was really not going to fight back or stop them from basically doing just about anything they wanted to her.
Having Her Point A Gun On Herself
Someone from the crowd took the chains and tied her up with them. Then another took the loaded gun and had her hold it pointed in the direction of her neck. She even said, “I had a pistol with bullets in it, my dear. I was ready to die.” But it would seem that the gathering of people couldn’t believe just how far she would allow them to go.
