His Friends Were Stunned

Those that considered themselves Orion’s friends from school couldn’t believe it. They described him as ‘a gentle and friendly person who was also a talented jazz drummer,’ one friend even said, “He would make any situation fun.” His school would also release a statement saying, “The nature of this crime is horrific, and the grief of family and friends is immeasurable. And yet Orion is one of our own.”

Even His School Only Had Good Things To Say

His own principal had said that Orion was a “well-liked and talented young man.” Another friend exclaimed, “I was absolutely stunned. He was a really good guy. He was musically talented, smart, laid-back, I would say cool.” While another old friend, Wolfgang Boegel, shared, “This is the most devastating news I’ve ever heard in my entire life. I was in complete disbelief. I didn’t think it was real at first.”
