Videoing His Progress

Amy shares just how gratifying it is to see how far her son has come. She says, “Yesterday I was proud I took my phone out and filmed him while he walked towards me, but he didn’t stop, he just kept right on going. It was the most he’d ever walked.” And these days, amazingly, he walks everywhere and anywhere he wants to. He’s literally a walking miracle.

Making Ends Meet

Along with his progress though are the never-ending bills that the family needs to pay for Jett’s treatments. And since they had Jett, Amy stopped working to take care of him. She says, “Getting by on a single-income with a family of six has its ups and it’s downs.” And yet despite that, she won’t allow it to get her spirits down. She continues, “But when I saw Jett doing what he is doing now, it was certainly worth all the downs.”
