Born Prematurely

Before Amy could reach 40 weeks, her unborn son’s heart rate would drop, and little Jett was born via emergency caesarian section on January 2, 2013. He had come five weeks early, putting him in the premature category for newborns. And while Amy and Leigh knew that there would be complications with him coming early, they didn’t realize that their world was going to get turned upside down.

Being Placed In The NICU

Jett’s parents share how they had only heard their newborn son cry one time before he was swept up and brought directly to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, otherwise known as the NICU. Little did they know at the time that tiny baby Jett was going to face some mountainous problems from the minute he was born.
