After the woman allowed Velling to come in and tell his story, the investigator told the complex background of Lori Erica Ruff. He felt he was rambling and confusing the woman even more, who he wasn’t even sure was related to Lori, so he decided to bring out the photos to show her. As he laid them out, the relative said, “My God, that’s Kimberly!”
