For years, the couple tried unsuccessfully to have a child. After several years of miscarriages, the pair finally turned to in vitro fertilization and Lori gave birth to a baby girl in 2008. It’s at this time that Lori began to spiral.

After their daughter was born, Lori became a totally different person. Her relationship with Blake and his family became strained as time went on because of her extremely protective nature regarding their daughter, going so far as to never let the family hold her.
