The nurse working with Tami at that time said that the full bottle of Roxanol wasn’t accessible to just anyone. However, the accused did have access to the area at that time and was actually in the vicinity. When the hospital staff asked about the disappearance, Tami denied any involvement and blamed a relative of a patient who had not been in the area at that time.
More Proof
From the allegations presented, there was no other likely thief than Tami herself. But the problem was, the prosecutor needed more proof in order to put Tami behind bars. So, they searched for more witnesses and found one in the form of an ex boyfriend who left no room for further doubt about her capability for murder.
