People who knew Tami decided to speak as well. They could attest to the fact that the couple had been going through financial difficulties. In fact, their home was going into foreclosure. Many also knew that Tami had plans of divorcing him, but just a few weeks before he died, she changed her story. She had gotten him to sign a life insurance policy and told him that it was mortgage insurance for their home. Apparently, it was her way of reconciling. Of course, not too many people believed her.

No Plans

Tami hadn’t had any plans of reconciling with Alan at all. In fact, it is believed that she had an affair with the insurance agent named Gary Ruddell. Although he would never be implicated in his death, it is also believed that he wasn’t aware of Tami’s plans in any way.
