The Struggle Continues

Despite the evidence being inadmissible, the prosecution fought back. They saw the opening when the defense attorney said that Alan had taken the lethal dose of morphine himself. This signified another change in Tami’s story. This was proof that she knew there were illegal drugs available in the home, and because Alan’s family could testify to the fact that the victim had been against drugs, it could only mean one thing: the morphine came from Tami.

Tami’s Side

According to Tami, Alan had taken the pills and killed himself because he wasn’t willing to live if he didn’t have free reign. But this had been unlikely as Tami spoke to several people and hinted that she never thought highly of him. She, in fact, called him a slacker as well as irresponsible. It was clear that she wanted him out.
