Completing the Puzzle

The trial was finally coming to an end. The judge and jury had been presented with every piece of evidence available. With Tami’s past statements and actions, she was finally found guilty on April 22, 2011, more than three years after Alan’s death. She received 55 years for murder, another four years for each six counts of insurance fraud, and another year and half each for the three counts of obstruction of justice. Despite her attempt to appeal, the court held strong to its decision, and this was what Alan’s family had hoped would happen. This irrational and dangerous woman was finally behind bars and while the road to redemption had been long and taxing, the wait was very much worth the win.
