In 1938 Hofmann came up a drug that would change warfare forever. He had invented LSD, a hallucinogenic, and only a handful of people knew it but the company he worked for, Sandoz, had a secret partnership with the CIA. The CIA had a motive for teaming up with the Swiss pharmaceutical- it wanted to take war to the next level.
