Widespread Insanity
The village of Port-Saint-Esprit had gone crazy. People were horror-stricken. Flesh-eating demons were chasing them, while others claimed their heads turned into lead and were scared to death, frantically saying that organs were coming out of their ears. Even little boys wanted to strangle their mothers, and one man wanted to cut his chest open with a butcher’s knife. And the frightening scenario went on throughout the night.
