6) Women crossing the street
There is still a dysfunction of the gender equality in North Korea. According to The Guardian, “If a husband or wife does anything contrary to party ideology, this is considered grounds for divorce”. In summary of the differences, men are expected to be able to maintain a distinction between their public and personal lives from their wives while women should not want to know about the things that happen to their men outside the house.
