According to Korean Konsult, Pyongyang has electrically powered trolleybuses and subways as its main public transport. However, most of these transport systems are rendered only in large cities such as Nampho and Pyongyang, the capital city of North Korea. In most areas, people rely on bicycles as their mode of transportation, given also the potholed, underdeveloped roads especially in the countryside.
