The “traffic girl” is a popular image in North Korea, The Velvet Rocket reported. It is a highly-respected position to the extent that they are found on postage stamps, propaganda posters, billboards, and even as dolls. It adds that once tourists leave Pyongyang, the so-called “traffic” disappears and the highways and roads across the rest of the country are absolutely deserted.
