Although what Abrahams had thought was Yakovlev’s way of deflecting their questions about his using Malezhik’s credit card, he didn’t realize was that the name Viktor was actually a clue into another victim of Yakovlev. Abrahams decided to keep the information written down to look into further later on, but he continued to pester him about Irina Malezhik.
