Keeping a Candle

Delphine’s memory was always with Brooke. The baby had occupied a permanent spot in her heart. Being Jewish, she kept a box of yahrzeit candles with her at home and on August 12 every single year, she’d take out one and light it for the baby who was now in heaven. She did this for 66 years without miss.
