The trip to London was definitely off the table, at least for the next nine months. So, Brooke decided to brave through the pregnancy, and in the months that followed, she somehow became attached to the life growing inside her. And one fine morning in 1942, an angel with rosy cheeks arrived. She was the spitting image of her mother, but Brooke knew she had to say goodbye soon.
