Painful Parting
“She was so beautiful to me,” Brooke recounted. “I held that little darling. But then I handed her back. I handed her back and I wasn’t going to think about her again.” And so, Brooke did her best to move on and forget what had happened to her. It was painful but it was something she needed to do.
