As if the rape didn’t traumatize Brooke enough, she found out that she was pregnant. She wasn’t ready to become a mom, and she definitely wasn’t ready to give up her life for a child she never wanted in the first place. So, she considered having an abortion, but at that time, it hadn’t been legalized just yet.
