Making It A Haven
One might come to the conclusion that Auroville is simply some hippie town. However, it’s more than that. While there is neither religion nor government operating under it, it was designed to be India’s poster child. It enforces, among its citizens, to conform to the country’s ultimate ideals and aspirations.
Share of Problems
Alcohol and cars aren’t allowed in Auroville, but yes, it does have its fair share of problems. There have been known robberies in the area. However, visitors of the town have been more than impressed. That’s because this is the perfect place for meditation. Guests are given access to the Matrimandir where they can have their quiet time. And they get the full experience as well when they do stay in a guesthouse.
