Ask Burgess

During the time that Burgess was in jail, the authorities, family, friends and 198 other volunteers searched for Donna alongside the Trinity Search and Rescue Team. They scoured the Santa Monica Mountains but sadly came up blank. They insisted on continuing to ask Burgess about Donna, but he remained completely silent on the subject.

One Year Later

Finally, one year later, while Burgess was serving time at the California Correctional Institute, he finally confessed to the involuntary manslaughter and concealment of the accidental death of Donna Jou. At the same time, he was also convicted of selling or transporting both cocaine and heroin.
