St. John’s Hospital

Under the supervision of Dr. Moore, she worked in the Pathology Laboratories department during the summer of 2005, hoping to one day follow her dream of becoming a neurosurgeon. She even managed to volunteer for the Interfaith Ministries, helping collect food and deliver it to those in need.

Clear Lake High School

While in her senior year of high school, she decided that she wanted to join the “Independent Study Mentorship” course by NASA Senior Scientist, Dr. Deborah Harm. She had to be accepted by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas in order to join in Summer High School Apprenticeship Program. Not surprisingly, she got in without a glitch.
