Believing She Was Taken
Her family and friends were quite adamant that she had been taken since it wasn’t in her nature to just leave without notice. Robert Patnaude, the State Police Captain, shared that they were looking into motives. He said, “We started obviously with ex-boyfriends, family members, acquaintances, parolees in the area, sex offenders. We’ve interviewed everyone we could, trying to find out what happened to her that night.” But it didn’t feel like they were getting any closer to the truth.
