Her family and friends were beginning to get desperate, and so her friend, Cynthia Nellis, decided to do something a little unprecedented. She sought out help from Rachael’s childhood hero, Shania Twain. She was able to get in touch with the mega star by saying, “You are Rachael’s favorite country artist. She absolutely adores you. Her parent’s use to call her Shania when she was little because she would sing your music all the time.”
