Texting Her Mom
Before she went up to the camping ground, Rachael text her mom saying, “I’m at the bottom of the hill. Goodnight and I love you.” She knew that she was going to lose signal once she reached her destination at the campsite. The site itself was a familiar one, as they would spend a lot of time there. Plus, one of Rachael’s aunts owned a nearby camping site in the same area. So after bidding her mom goodnight that evening and saying that she loved her, little would her mom know that it would be last time she would hear from her.
