Once Shania had tweeted about Rachael, her story made major national news. Her face, her story and her missing person’s case were all over television and other media outlets. On July 1, over a week from the time Rachael went AWOL, Shania tweeted, “I’ve heard the story of Rachael Mattice & urge anyone with information to come forward to the police & help her return to her family. Thinking of you Rachael.”
